Valerii Zhuikov born in 1945, DrS, Professor, Dean (from 2003) of Faculty of Electronics .

Formed a new research areas: 1) the theory of numerical and analytical and topological methods of analysis processes and synthesis schemes converters of electricity from variable structure; 2) proactive control valve converters; 3) the chaotic processes in power electronics systems.

He is the author and co-author of 423 scientific and methodical works, including 19 monographs, 34 textbooks, 11 manuals, 65 patents. For achievements in scientific work V. Zhuikov in 1981, 1984, 1987 awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR, and in 2001 from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “For scientific achievements”. In 1989 he was awarded the sign “Inventor of the USSR”. Awarded diplomas of the second degree “KPI”: in 2003. – For the monograph; 2005. – In the manual; 2011. – In tutorial. In 1979 V.Ya.Zhuykova Medal of the Academy of Sciences of the Prize for Young Scientists, and in 2002, Lebedev Prize for the series of works “Elements of the theory and methods of construction of semiconductor and solid state transformers of electric power. Since 2008. – Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor of industrial electronics, winner of the NAS of Ukraine for young scientists. Born in 1975 graduated from “KPI” specialty “Industrial electronics”. She worked as an engineer, assistant, senior lecturer. In 1999 defended his thesis. Since 2000 – associate professor of industrial electronics. He teaches lectures on disciplines: “Computer Mathematics”, “Electronics and microcircuitry” conducts practical classes for students of stationary form of training lectures and teaches students the distance learning course “Stand-alone converters.”
Research interests – development of intelligent control systems converters.

Born in 1950 KPI graduated in 1973, specialty “Industrial electronics”. She worked as an engineer, they say. Fellow, p. researcher, associate professor. Defended his candidate (1981) and doctoral (1997) theses. 1984 was the winner of the award named after Lenin Komsomol. Nikolai Ostrovsky in science, technology and production. Reads lectures: “Microprocessor Technology”, “specialized industrial and microprocessor systems,” “Modern trends microprocessor and computer technology”, which provided 9 methodological guidelines and manuals. Has more than 100 scientific papers, including a textbook, 2 monographs, 13 patents. Subject of research – the microprocessor control valve converters based on symmetric transformation of discrete functions.

Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences.

Born in 1949 graduated with honors from the CPI in 1973 worked as an engineer assistant, p. lecturer at the Department of Industrial Electronics. In 1982 he defended his thesis. Since 1983 he worked as an associate professor. In 2010 he defended his doctoral dissertation “Analysis of modes of electric power converters by features free regime”, specialty 05.09.12 – Semiconductor converters of electricity. Since 2011 working as a professor of industrial electronics.

Research interests – investigation of electromagnetic processes in discrete linear circuits and use these methods to the analysis of electromagnetic processes in power electronic devices. Prepared and taught courses on specific and general engineering disciplines: “Fundamentals of Industrial Electronics”, “transforming technology”, “Fundamentals of Computer Science and Programming”, “Theory of electrical circuits”, “Power Electronics”, “Fundamentals of engineering design.” Manages master’s theses and diploma projects bachelors and specialists. Prepared 7 x 2 masters and PhDs. He has over 70 scientific publications, 10 patents, and is the author of the textbook, co-authored four books.
